Lavaud Painting courses All inclusive , tuition, accommodation, meals
Our French Painting holidays are designed to offer painting tuition in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Set in the heart of the lush Perigord in the French countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Lavaud will inspire your imagination and free your mind, allowing you to create the paintings you have only ever dreamed about.
5 Day Courses are held throughout the months of June and September, these months of the year having a more pleasant temperature for painting. The courses start Sunday pm and finish Friday midday after lunch. A minimum of 20 hours tuition with each course. The courses are open to all levels of ability as individual tuition throughout each daily session will enable you to develop your individual skills and artistic personality. Students need to provide their own equipment, advice and a list of appropriate materials needed will be given. Numbers are strictly limited with just 6 pupils on each course, of course non painting partners are very welcome. Beginners will be given instruction in the basics of drawing and painting in the medium of their choice. Experienced artists will have an opportunity to be inspired by a change of environment offering you fresh insights into your creativity.
Meals For those of you who enjoy good food and wine the Perigordine cuisine is a must. Meals include breakfast, light lunch and three course dinner, including wine. Tea and coffee making facilities are all included in the price. Non Painting Partner Here at Lavaud we offer the non painting partner a wealth of activities. The large heated swimming pool is available to all the guests, as is the Tennis Court, Table Tennis, Boules, mountain bikes and Fishing in the local river (exclusively available to guests on the Painting courses) There is an 18 hole golf course at Perigueux (additional charges) Our painting courses are designed to accommodate the non painting partner.

Tuition
is provided by one of several local French artists, who all have
teaching experience and are exhibiting artists, lessons will be
in English. What ever your painting ability, our tutors can guide
you towards a more fulfilling appreciation of how to reach you own
objectives, in a friendly and unpressurised way.
Accommodation
Lavaud offers an all inclusive package with your accommodation,
meals, and tuition included. The accommodation at Lavaud consists
of 6 bedrooms and three bathrooms. All guests on the course have
full use of all facilities. (Tennis Court, heated swimming pool,
bikes etc) The courses are limited to 6 pupils, none painting partners
are welcome.
